Halak has been hot garbage this year. DeSmith has been outplaying him. NO thanks. You're lucky to get a 4th for him at this point.

There is no way Halak brings in a 2nd.. I would rather keep DeSmith.

Halak is 2-6-2 with a .883 sv%. That's BAAAAD. I don't see why anyone would want him at this point to be honest.

Halak got his bonus and checked out. Seems a lot of aging players saw Dim Jim Benning as a sucker and cashed in on his stupidity. Halak is too old, nobody want him.

And we don’t need Ty Smith. Would go with Reilly Walsh instead

considering halak said he doesnt want to be traded and wont waive...yeah its pretty much a guarantee he wont be brining in a 2nd, or any pick for that matter of fact

Halak brings back a mid round pick. 4th or 5th. Even with retaining. And they are gonna have to retain cause of his bonus.

And the only team I see working for Boeser is the NYR. With his 7.5M QO next season. Or a rebuilding team with cap space.

It’s gonna be hard for a contending team to take that contract and that 7.5M QO next season without moving cap back in the trade. And JR wants to clear cap space. Not take salary back.

I’d say NYR’s 1st round pick and Nils Lundkvist for Boeser. Or maybe their 1st and Kravtov. But doesn’t seem like too many teams/GMs are interested in Kravtov; Rangers have been trying to move him all season.

If that’s what it takes to get Boeser I’d rather just let Vancouver deal with that 7.5m QO instead.
