Value is decent but i don't think the canucks are going to sell at the deadline with the pace they are at right now, would feel unfair to the players to pull the rug on them after getting this close back into the playoff picture

That’s a fat package for Garland that’s a package more suitable for Miller.

Nope from Winnipeg. Barron would need to come the other way if you wanted Gus as well

I think Van wants to keep miller personally. But ya it would be a similar package, with some money kept.

Gus is one of the Jets few center prospects, he's not being added to a Copp trade for this.

Youre way over valuing Gus. Barron is also better the heinola... you want Barron, Lucius is coming backing

Great shutdown C who can PK and is great defensively. He won’t wow you but just quietly gets his job done. Yeah, he won’t rack up the points and isn’t flashy but that’s not why the Jets drafted him.

Lol, ok. Both Heinola (and Lucius) have higher potentials than Barron, Heinola has proven more even though he is being handicapped by a outdated, antiquated coaching staff who prefers to play size over skill and he should be playing every night.
Barron is good, I recognize the abilities hence why I think he would be great on the Jets, but he isn’t better than Heinola and every single prospect ranking has backed that argument up.

Gus is part of the future here, no need to include him in any package.

We'll see, Gus puts up points in the AHL, might be more to his game than originally thought.

Potential is there. I watched him against the moose in Toronto and I was impressed by his play defensively but there does appear to be some untapped potential. I think he would need to play with another defensively responsible player so that he can gain some confidence to jump up into the rush. I still think he tops out as a 3C but would be great if he could develop into another Copp

If he can turn into a two-way 3C that hits the 30-40 point mark consistently that'd be huge for this team and would make such a big difference.
