Quoting: BuFfaLOFaN
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to carry over just one part, and in general I completely agreed with your post. most of your posts, and appreciate all the likes.
I was just asking if there was another player available that was better than Power. I haven't followed the rookies very much this year, obviously I've followed power but that's about all. I wanted Beniers before the draft, but there isn't anything I can do about that now.
Then we agree completely.
I thought Buffalo would trade the pick or take Berniers.
So many of the players drafted in the first round (or later) last year all play for the University of Michigan.
Owen Power first,
Matty Beniers second,
Luke Hughes fourth,
Kent Johnson fifth,
Matthew "Mackie" Samoskevich 24th
Dylan Duke 126th
Brendan Brisson 29th 2020 draft
Thomas Bordeleau 38th 2020 draft
Jacob Truscott 144th 2020 draft
To muddy the picture, U of M GK is Erik Portillo, drafted by Buffalo 67th in 2019.
Is he any good a just a GK on a good team
So are these guys really good.
Or are they hanging on each other's coattails as Dylan Strome (McDavid's team mate in Erie) did when he was taken 3rd OA behind McDavid and Eichel.
