I could add someone like Rosen or Peterka, that would be 4/5 first round picks in value. Even if Vegas makes the playoffs I think the value above is decent. You got a middle6scoring winger, probably worth a first. Johnson, and 2 firsts. Which is 3 more firsts. Johnson has shown lots of potential probably would be in the NHL but just doesn't fit with the other dudes we have unless he can play RD.

I think it's too much for Chychrun.

Chychrun is on a great contract, but it's for 3 more seasons, and there's no way we could afford to re-sign him. I'd rather keep the Vegas 1st and draft someone (Ryan Chesley) who can fit the Stanley Cup window. Maybe in Chyrchrun's last year we'd be a contender, but not the next two seasons. Giving up that many prime assets on him...maybe the value is there (replace one of the 1sts with a 2nd...) but I don't think it makes sense to do this trade.

You would think so but with all the injuries they have and if they have to rely on Brossoit for to long a time it could happen. Teams below them have games in hand and Edm just knocked them to a wild card team. Wishful thinking on my part (and the Sabres lol) I guess
