Just a hilariously bad deal for Ottawa. The Sens are a garbage defensive squad and Zub is their only top 4 defensive specialist worthy of being called one. Drastically more valuable to Ottawa than a powerplay specialist would be. Sens already have Chabot, and Sanderson is coming in mere weeks. The idea that Ottawa would then give a valuable UFA asset and a 3rd is just icing on the cake.

I'm a HARDCORE Oilers fan, but no, yes I'd like Nick Paul and Artem Zub apart of the Oilers Team, but I also love the Senators and believe that them 2 will be apart of the Senators success for the next 5+ years, so I say no to the Sens trade

Both teams say No. Kris Russell is likely to run out his expiring contract on the LTIR list, so why would Seattle give Carson Soucy away for a pick in the 40's?

Turris is a cap dump, Barrie’s underperforming on a brand new huge contract. Neither carry much value.

On the other side you have Ottawas best RD on a very team friendly deal (1st+), Paul on a rental (2nd or 3rd) and yet somehow Ottawa’s still adding a 3rd to the deal?

Not even close.
