How about the 14m raises to Fox and Zibs?

Idk...it is most definitely an intriguing trade from CBJ's perspective. From our end, I'd hope the front office had a ton of hope that Kaako and AL's troubles in NY were just that...troubles in NY.

Nemeth doesn't do anything for us. If anything, we need RD, not LD.

That being said, in all likelihood, Laine isn't traded. He's been playing very well, and he has said all the right things about wanting to stay.

It would take a massive breakdown in negotiations/ relationship for him to go at this point.

Those are factored in - Long Term Outlook.

PROJECTED CAP SPACE.............. $14,033,531

Word is Laine is looking to get about $8.5M for 5-6 on his next contract, so NYR would have plenty of space.

Columbus trade is an easy no from the Rangers.

Giroux is going to Florida.

Yeah Laine is a pretty one dimensional player, and he's not Ovi so can't get away with it. Also, doubt rangers would give up Laffy for Laine straight up.

Agree. Rangers wouldn't do Laffy or Kakko straight up for Laine let alone both.

I could see a kakko trade (if not for the horrendous cap implications Laine may have with the rangers). We all know Laine can't play center tho, which would be the only way they'd consider risking those implications
