Change the Oilers trade to Smith+3rd for Anderson and you might have something closer to reality.

Oilers arent trading Koskinen. Since Woodcroft took over Koskinen has been in the top 5 in the NHL for S% and his record is remarkable.

Probably don’t need to open a discussion on this one. The guy literally has a 1st round pick for 40 year year old Craig Anderson. When they are that far off the mark, best to let the thread fade away haha

Right? If the Canucks are offering anyone of their top forwards you’d think this would try to beat that lol. The worst of the Canucks top forwards is better than olofsson.

I’m a Sabres fan, but the crap you’re getting is deserved

The Oilers trade is hideous for them
Yes, Koskinen is extremely unreliable & the need another goalie just in case- but they aren’t paying a 1st to get rid of him, especially when he’s been playing well lately!
A more likely trade would be Anderson for a 4th or maybe a 3rd to EDM, just so they’d have some insurance for when he starts playing crappy again

And let me guess your reasoning on the Pitt trade:
U think Pysyk’s analytics make them think he’s barely a downgrade from Marino

They aren’t gonna do that. Maybe if Olofsson was having a good season? But we both know that his lack of production this season has had to have killed his value.
