Not much there for Buffalo. Basically we are retaining and giving away an asset plus a 5th and 6th, for just a 4th.

I think If Pens and Bert make any sense. It would be something like Kappy, PO-J, and two 1st round picks.

And that’s a super high price for a winger.a winger that hasn’t played a whole season in his career either. And I’m a Bert fan. Not Knocking him. That’s just facts.

And if that’s the price; a young NHL player like Kappy, a top prospect like PO-J and two 1sts, Pens move on too the next available winger. Wingers are the least valued position in the NHL. And most available.

Kappy, PO-J and a 1st probably definitely gets Boeser. Although giving up that many assets I would think Boeser would need to sign a long term deal. I don’t think any GM, including Vancouver’s, wants anything to do with his 7.5M QO.
