1. I don’t think it’ll cost that much to dump off considering that he was a very solid tandem goalie before this year and has only had ~15 games this season. It doesn’t seem like enough to drag his value this far down.
2. Why are we trading Holl for less than De Haan when Holl is the better player and has more term and is cheaper (factoring in the salary retained)

Wedgewood actually has value, and I don't think the Yotes are going to trade him without an overpay. Plus, I don't think the Yotes would bite on just a third for Wedgewood, especially when there is a chance of a bidding war at the very least between Toronto and Edmonton, but Vegas can be thrown into that mix as well. And with Vegas being the most desperate right now as they try to cling to WC2, they might be willing to pay more than the 2 teams I mentioned. And there is no chance that Holl gets a 3rd. If the Leafs are lucky he gets a 5th.

I have a stupid feeling hes gonna rebound. As I have seen this before.. But it wont be with us

Sadly though I feel his time is up. Might get packaged off, might get bought out.

In general if he could have been playing like he did with the Wings and Canes probs be a 0.915 by now.

As we have seen him do well with us but the issue is he cant be consistent. Like against the wild, canes, islanders, and heck in that relief game against Devils he was good. Dont know if being hurt twice at the start of the year is the main cause of this issue but what I do know is that with Kallgren looking good in net in his 2 starts and relief game his time in Toronto may be up. Whether he finishes with the marlies, gets traded at the TDL, or bought out in the summer its a wait and see rn.

Mrazek can 110% rebound, I agree. I think he would do well in a fresh market, Toronto just isn’t a fit. If im Dubas, im looking at a hockey trade with Seattle, Dreiger for Mrazek. Both on almost identical contract and both struggling with their current teams, it makes a lot of sense tbh
