If the Stars continue to play at a .585 points percentage -- they have a slightly easier schedule and two games in hand -- that means the Jets would need to be the best team in hockey and go 15-5-0. The Jets play 10 teams that are not fighting for a playoff spot, so that means if they don't mess that up they also have to grab 5 more wins from (VGK, TOR, LAK, COL x2, CAR, FLA, TBL, NYR, CAR, CGY). Their reward for that... Colorado.

No, it may not be wise, but I don't think the Jets are going to trade them. They will make an ill-fated push for the playoffs and fall short.
