There will be a bidding war for his services as there was upwards of 10 teams in the mix, he will get a second or a little bit more, if the Oilers are not willing to give that then so be it, you won't get the player.

I see but maybe the 2 needs are very important. I obviously don't follow the Oilers as much as you but a GREAT bottom-6 defensive forward could be an important need too. Anyway, we don't decide anything but don't be surprised if the Oilers give up a 2nd+ for Paul, as they are apparently among the teams the most interested...

Holland has stated he's not giving up top picks or top prospects unless the player has term and younger then Paul, don't be surprised with time ticking down on deadline day Paul goes for a 3rd or less

No I'd be very very surprised if Paul doesn't get at least a 2nd. I have followed the NHL very closely for decades. I don't know about hockey players simply by looking at hockeydb (many do that)

It's not a surprise that the majority of playoffs teams are interested in adding Nick Paul.

I wouldn't be very suprised if Ottawa find a way to extend him though, very important player, even if his statsline is nothing special.
