Don’t know about the rest of it, but I’m not gonna lie it’s not even close for Thompson from the Sabres. He’s a core piece, leads the team in points, and has played first line center for the majority of the season

Wings pass, maybe only 1 of those players are interesting and no firsts. This trade isn't close

Bertuzzi would cost a good young roster player, a good prospect, 1st, 2nd. That is for the Wings to stay on the phone.

Bertuzzi would cost a good young roster player of similar values, A very good prospect and a 1st and 2nd round pick alone. Which none you provide. Pittsburgh just doesn't have the assets for Bertuzzi.

Love the idea of getting Bertuzzi, but think it would cost way more. I think it would take two 1sts, plus two of Legare/Petterson/POJ plus another player or pick to get Bertuzzi alone. Still think we should go for it though.

We will not be adding a winger for Geno. Look at what teams are paying just for blue liners, this trade market is costly and this front office won’t trade a first rounder
