Description
The Wings are getting a younger, bigger and more talented roster.

Tampa upgrades their strong defense, replacing Ruuta with Hronek. You can change the 2nd to a 1st and isles still say no. Wahlstrom is currently playing with Barzal , so not sure what you're talking about.

I'm not against that for Tampa, but I am not looking to spend $4.4m a season on a new RHD.

I don't think these deals are especially good for Detroit even though they are undervaluing the pieces coming in.

Detroit won't challenge for a cup with these guys and giving up 7 assets to get four will only make the team take even longer to become a contender.

Wahlstron is averaging only 12 minutes a game, that's border 3rd/4th line minutes. The prospect pool is not very good or deep, especially on defense, so they get an NHL ready LD to add to next year's lineup and a high draft pick in a deep draft. The Iles are also close to the cap, and they have to re-sign Barzal next year to a significant raise. Something has to give.

The prospect pool isn't deep so we're trading a 21 year old playing with the teams star center? Are you f*cking serious? Lol. Mcisaac sucks and the isles have 3 top pair defenseman on their roster, including a 22 year old Noah Dobson who's been one of the best young defenseman in the league this season. Your logic is so flawed.

This is like the islanders give up a 3rd round pick for Zadina
