Disclaimer: I don’t like giving up bert and the second for essentially 2 dumps, coronato and a slight pick upgrade. If we took out the second going their way I’d be less disgusted.

I assume coronato would take another year before entering the roster - and we might buy out Lucic if we did this.

Can't see Calgary parting with coronato but maybe if gaudreau leaves they might get desperate. I just don't think Bert has this kinda value.

Really where is the value for bert? Just in Coronato. Lucic is a cap dump to us, monohan is neutral, maybe worth a third their way at most.

Bert doesnt help Calgary, he's like a 3rd lone winger for us at best. If you want to discuss Larkin if extension talks go south then sure but not at all interested in trading that for Bert

Really a PPG Bertuzzi doesn't have the value of Coronato, a late 2023 1st round pick plus Lucic and Monahan. Lucic is a cap dump and Monahan has been trending down big time. So it's basically a #13 pick plus a late 1st for Bertuzzi. And there's zero guarantee's that Coronato would ever don a Red Wings jersey anyways. it's always a major risk trading for a college player.
