None, why would the Sens be buying out players?

Same question can be asked about buying out Bobby Ryan.

Colin White buyout is cheap, he's the obvious option IF they decide to move on from him... Then he'll sign somewhere else on a bargain deal to eventually sign a contract more representative of his real worth (3.0 to 4.0, depending on how he does next year)

Doubt they'll have to buy out Murray, I think he ends up on LTIR. Too many concussions, too dangerous to play in a contact league

Zaitsev I don't know, they seem to be big fans for some reason.



Pierre Dorion management 101

1) Buy out Bobby Ryan (had 2 years left at 7.25)
2) Sign Dadonov (3 years at 5.0)
3) cost : 5.0 + 1.833 (x 4 years) instead of 7.25, but ONE year MORE

Dadonov produced at 0.36 PPG in Ottawa. Last Ryan full season in Ottawa, he produced at 0.54 PPG. Even the season after he came back, he produced 0.42 PPG

Thankfully Dorion was able to get out of Dadonov contract, even got Holden and a 3rd out of it. One of Dorion best trades

If McGuire is anywhere near the helm, Zaitsev might get extended nevermind bought out.

If Murray is fit to play they'll give him another year. White comes with the cheapest penalty and likely has the better odds to live up to more of his potential once given a shot. Murphy's Law, right?
