No way Calgary gets Miller for Monahan. That part is ridiculous. Take Calgary out of the trade and give Miller to Edmonton, and you might have something worth talking about. Even then, Edmonton gets only one year of Miller (unless they can extend him) for 8 years of Nurse and a first-round pick. That only makes sense for them if they want to dump Nurse's contract, which they just signed last summer. In that case, I think they'd have to find another taker, because the last thing Vancouver needs is another overpaid defenseman.
