No thanks, the wings are clogged enough as it is in DC, and Heinen would be excess goods. Really just can’t see a WSH-PIT trade happening at this point in time.

Also Fleury at 1.5 lolwhat

You title this "improvments" and you did nothing but not improve the roster lol.

Brian Dumolin is the guy you want to trade, not Pettersson.

That Marino / POJ for a first round pick is easily the dumbest thing i've seen on this thread - and I've seen alot of dumb ****.

Imagine trying to improve this team by giving Ben Chariot a contract, period. He's not good. You're also overpaying him. No.

I'm okay with moving on from Zucker.

Heinen has produced 14 goals in 13 assists while making 1.1m this season. He'll get a raise, but the penguins should be considering keeping him as a bottom six scoring option somewhere around 2.5ish.

I guess Filip Foresberg isn't an improvement over Heinen or Zucker for you. Defense needs tweaking too. Marino has been very okay this year, but not great and has showed signs of regressing. Chairot can play a ton of minutes and isn't as bad as your making him out to be. Dumolin is having a bad year, but it's not like Pettersson is having a great year either. Dumolin at his best is way better than Pettersson, so giving him one more year to see then he's a UFA. Wouldn't be against trading him, but for his contract versus Petterssons I'd rather get rid of Pettersson. I do not understand the thought behind keeping Heinen. He has not been good recently, only had one good stretch. He's on the verge of getting benched when Zucker and McGinn come back. Our forwards need a shakeup, and I'd rather keep Kapanen for a lower price than Heinen since Kapanen has much more potential, although he's been playing bad.
