We could hold onto Klefbom, and we don’t need Fischer. The only player I wouldn’t mind getting off of Arizona is Chychrun, but he would cost a lot so I don’t think Edmonton, and Arizona are good trade partners.

MTL decline and Block ARZ number,

MTL jump on this trade, they won't have to handle the Mailloux situation anymore and will get a Andersson 2.0

Isles decline

They get a top Dman that will bring the team back on track Playoff wise and they get ride of Bailey that is super expensive, maybe they pay a lot of prospects I agree, but its a good base for discussions

An opinion like an other, but I see your point so I respect it

You wouldn't do it even if it gets you rid of the Klefbom contract?

Probably not. It’s just too much, and we don’t need Fischer really. We got plenty of bottom 6 guys we can sign for cheap. Also, Klefbom will stay on LTIR next year. Don’t see why we would have to move him.

The new GM doesnt care about the Mailloux situation.he didnt draft him. he has the potentiel to be a stud on a the MTL blue line. The only defensive prospect who have de potential to drive a PP in MTL. No way we give him for Weber contract and a another middle 6 winger

The isles are in no position to give up a high pick in a deep draft AND their top forward prospect. Chychrun isn't Makar

While I think it showed lack of character from management to draft him I think it would show lack of character to move on from this young man now. He paid his dues for his actions and everyone deserves a second chance, but with that being said this would be a solid trade for the Habs and they would except. Not because they want to move on from “the Mailloux situation” but because it would be a good hockey move. Could you imagine Crouse and Anderson on the same line?

Check the stats of Chychrun, he has a difficult year, but he is one an awfull team. He clearly is, in a good team, a top NHL Dman. Not Makar, but more like a Pulock 2.0

If you don't give your first, I would probably ask you your 1st next year top 10 protected, but I am firm on getting Raty and Holmstrom

I know what Chychruns stats are, but the isles have 3 top pair caliber defenseman. They don’t need to give up multiple high end assets for Chychrun, it makes more sense to give a 3rd for Mike Rielly or sign Kulak

2 lazy power forwards who are inconsistent? 1 is too much. No need for any for them in todays game. Just have a look at any of the cup winners rosters, not one pf in the top 6

Okay, inconsistent? Yeah. But lazy? C’mon dude, they both work their arses off. That’s why it’d be cool to see, 2 beast forecheckers on the same line pressuring the opposing D.
