No Bjorkstrand isn’t available. He is the most consistent forward and a difference maker every night.

Only interest in Scheifele is if he comes with an extension, no reason to pay the price needed if he is only here for a year or two. Guessing Johnson, Sillinger or Marchenko would be part of the ask.

I wouldn’t be drafting Miroshnichnko with a top 15 pick, maybe if he falls to us in the 2nd round, but drafting him that early with major health issues isn’t a smart move.

I’d love to see Columbus draft Nemec or the other RHD (Juricik or something like that) and another center.

Also if we really wanted to add a center, I’d take a look at what the price for Monahan, he is out of favor in Calgary and maybe a change is good for him, plus with 1 season left on his 6+ contract he wouldn’t be long term if he doesn’t work.

I agree with you on Sean. He’d be a great cheap pickup where he gets a fresh start and we get a potential top 6 center on the cheap. (Unlikely he bounces back but still a chance).

Is Scheifele available? If he was then the Jackets would be interested. I just can’t see them trading Bjorkstrand for him. Bjorkstrand is a fan favorite and has been very consistent. Not only that but very loyal.

I don't know for sure but Friedman brought his name up in terms of the summer. I can't see it, but at the same time he's looked way too comfortable here this year and I wonder if he needs a new coaching and management structure that will hold him accountable for his effort. When he's on he's fantastic but he floats in the d zone way too much

I really only brought up Bjorkstrand because it would be great to see him and Ehlers on the same line haha, but the Jets would need a right shot F back if Scheifele does go. The Jets would probably want someone who can play right away
