Only trade that kind of works for Detroit is the Florida trade. Everything else hurts us. It's like pissing away 1/3 of our rebuild and adding a bad contract. I hope this is a joke

Ya the habs wouldnt be interested in that trade. Suter is making over 3 million to underproduce relative to his icetime.

Florida trade is fine, Detroit passes on the rest. Doesn't remotely benefit us one iota.

The mismanagement of talent may change if the Blashil line-blender is dismissed this off season.

Lindstrom is no Lidstrom but that trade for a 5th is just awful. No more Petry to Detroit trades… please. If Yzerman picks up a veteran d-man through a trade hopefully it’s Martinez.

Pissing away 1/3 of our rebuild?? How do you figure lmao

We got a ton of dmen coming so the chances mcisaac is here longterm is slim. In the above scenario lindstrom would be a 7-8th dmen and again with the dmen we have coming i cant see him being a main piece .

The 2 guys from l.a ****emo and dolan are both 22 so we wouldnt be ruining the rebuild

Caps accept and run before Stevie changes his mind. I love Gustav and Washington could use a depth RD with some potential, since our RD prospects are still a couple years away with Iorio and Johnson.

You can say you dont like the trade but saying itll ruin the rebuild when two pieces coming back are 22 years old is wrong . Anyways

I just feel like it's not a good choice of assets aquired Durning to be rebuild. I most definitely could be wrong. Just my opinion.

And thats cool man we dont always haven to agree . Way i see it fabbri doesnt have a longterm future and with the drafts we’ve had mastrosimone and mcisaac have gone down the charts . ****emo is a shooter and had a decent ahl season and putting him with a playmaker like berggren intrigues me and dolan is a C and putting good numbers as well and l.a are running out of spots

L.a is definitely a team id target in the off season

Maybe I should put it this way. I think we should get more in return for trading away these players/ prospects. LA trade- Fabs by himself brings back more than this return providing he comes back from his injury. He was on a 20 + goal pace, high energy player. I'm my opinion Fabbri brings a first and ****emo, who has gone downhill himself. Mastro still has plenty of time to make an impression, he's still in college. I've heard allot of good things about Mcissac lately. Sounds like he's really turning a corner. Oesterle is worth maybe a 4th.
Add a first and another prospect/2nd.

Ernie is worth more than a 6th and if he is traded it will more likely be for another player.

Petry would be a horrible pick up and why would we give up a center that's worth a 2nd and a 2nd for him. In my opinion he's still a negative value player with the cap and term he comes with.

Lindstrom is worth more than a 5th. Why would we trade low on him. He's going through a rough patch but otherwise has had a decent year and he's still young.

All in all, I have to double down. I feel these trades are really bad for Detroit except for the Florida trade.

Thats fine thats your take , i disagree with it . Fabbri is a 3rd line player and likely wont hit 20-25 unless our team is horse**** again. Dolan is 3rd on the ahl team and and ****emo 5th and 2nd in goals with 27. Obviously that might not translate in the ahl but those guys wont get much chances on l.a as the lineup is already stacked and doesnt even include turcotte and madden. We’re in a position to give them a chance

Mcisaac wasnt an yzerman pick and sebrango johansson wallinder are ahead id say , if he makes the wings he wont be here longterm. We just drafted mazur, nilsson, savage , mastrosimone is dispensible

We’d be lucky to get a 7th for oesterle and erne isnt worth much. We’d be lucky to get a 3rd for suter , hes a mess. We do it to get the 2nd back cause you know we’re a rebuilding team and previously to this year petry hit 40+ 4 seasons in a row. I dont think its crazy to see him bounce back to 35+

Lindstrom meh . Anyways like i said its all good you disagree with the moves i disagree with your takes . We’ve all got our opinions
