I think so too but i think Wilson and Orlov may be too important to WSH

Yeah they are just too important as they go for the Cup. But even then, this isn't good enough for those 2. If Tara was younger and was on a longer contract then maybe, but as is, it isn't enough.

offensively, production wise, wilson will be made up for in tarasenko and possibly barbashev. will his physicality be missed? yes
orlov on the other hand has no one behind him. washington's D is freakishly shallow

The Blues are not doing all that retaining. And the Cap likely aren't dealing those two players anyway.
