Description
You likely can't sign Forsberg in FA, or move Wheeler's awful deal, but this is what the Jets need to do generally, trade those pieces and play for the future.

Scheifele and Wheeler are the problem with this team, both not living up to their contracts, so you might as well get something for them.

Schmidt and Dillon have been great pieces for this team, but I think it's about time we play the youth, and give our younger guys time to shine.

The front office is fine, but absolutely fire our coaching staff, ESPECIALLY on defense and special teams.

Pierre-Luc Dubois has been playing like a 1C the whole year despite often only getting 2nd line minutes, and his line has gelled, so extending him and Svechnikov is crucial for success.

Getting a 1D next to Morrissey is crucial, so trading Scheifele to fill that need makes sense with the center depth that the Jets have in Dubois, Perfetti, and Lowry. It could be another team, but I chose ARI because it makes the most sense to me, simple 1 for 1 trade.

Could see Philly maybe doing a one for one deal of Provorov for Scheifele, cant see Arizona having any interest in Scheifele though.

Really anyone that is a good compliment for Morrissey works, but Provorov would be a good one too.

Retained by Arizona of scheifele in a 3-way deal might be interesting, Arizona adding more youth and draft capital, and jets and whoever make the cap work and add some vets for a run.

Forsberg isn't signing in Winnipeg for that. The Jets don't do any of the deals other than the Philly one which they don't do.

The Jets have absolutely no reason to give Scheifele away.

I suspect Scheifele will probably have Arizona (and Buffalo) on his 10 team no trade list.

I doubt Arizona will be on there. Could see the 7 Canadian teams and 3 highest tax states on the list. It’s mainly about $ for most players.

If he wants to win or showcase himself for his next contract in two years, he'd probably want to go to a semi-good team.
