i dont think any of those teams are looking at giving up a key young player. Value may be fair but thats not enough to convince them to part with a key piece.

I'm thinking it's more of a straight up homage to 'MURICAAAA! than anything else, which is why, as a Ducks fan, I'm content to sit back and smile.

Agreed, MTL trips over themselves to accept.

Holtz is a 7th OA prospect
22 1st is probably top 5 overall pick
23 1st is probably a top 8 overall pick

Correct, this is not a legitimate suggestion lmao This is just "Jack plays with his best friends in Newark"

Hahaha, I'm into it. Gotta have Zegras playing with Caufield though.

Do you seriously think the Canucks would trade Hughes for Mercer, Severson, and Gritsyuk. I think you misplaced Holtz and the two first round picks into the wrong trade. You are really overrating Caufield if you think he’s two first round picks more valuable than Holtz

They seem to be unrealistic but trade value seems fair for some and make sense to make the trade because it’s a great offer.

Montreal Accepts
I think the ducks accept
Nucks I have no idea

Heavily overpaying for Caufield and disregarding Vancouver’s needs for Hughes

No. I don't think a single team in this ACGM actually makes any of these trades. But why would you think the value is off here? Mercer is an A prospect, Gritsyuk is absolutely tearing up the KHL and had an NHLe of 61 this year, and Severson is the "RHD" you guys have been demanding in every trade on here including Garland or Boeser. Should there be a pick in here? Maybe. I don't think the total value is nearly as far off as you're making it seem though.

Is Mercer good? Yes he’s a good piece in this deal. Gritsyuk will probably turn out meh in Vancouver as we would have a lot of wingers already. Wingers are easy to get. He’s also in Russia so getting him over would be really tough. Severson is a RHD but he’s 27 years old and does not really fit Vancouver’s timeline well. Also, the only reason the Canucks desperately want a RHD is to pair them up with Hughes. If we are trading away Hughes then that because pointless. He’s also not very good and has struggled recently. There is 0 incentive in this trade for Vancouver as Hughes is our franchise d man.

The Marketability of Zegras alone means the Ducks decline, he has a chance to get the Ducks more mainstream exposure than they have ever gotten

Again, my guy, not a single team here actually makes any of these trades. They're not serious. The value is close as I can get it in a very unrealistic exercise.
