Johnsson gets none of the respect he deserves. If we want to yeet anyone to open a roster spot, its McLeod or Wood.

No, he's not. Don't put that much money and term into a largely unproven starter. STL is a good team-- they already got Binnington an overpriced contract too. And look at Hart or Nedeljkovic -- one good year doesn't make you an NHL starter. He definitely has potential, but that's a big risk. And then look at a guy like Petersen even-- I think they're better off getting a vet to play with Blackwood and hope the latter can turn it around. Probably a new goalie coach and an improved defense too.

The changes I’d make are:
swap Nishushkin over Burakovsky
swap Blackwood (as I doubt he holds much value) with a prospect or pick
Hold off signing Husso and use cap for a vet 3C
