Um sir, first off that is a lot to ask a team to retain a player for another 5 seasons after this and that return is very very bad for Anaheim

Holl & Kerfoot both have basically 0 value to Anaheim and then Robertson doesn’t even come close to covering that retention let alone Gibby

The Muzzin-back-to-the-Kings-for-a-second pipe dream and the spare-parts-for-Gibson trade . . . this post has it all.

The hilarious idea that Anaheim would retain salary FOR FIVE YEARS in return for that junk elevates this proposal from incredibly awful to one of the five worst trade ideas I've ever seen on CapFriendly, on a par with Jonathan Quick and LA's 2022 second-round draft pick to Buffalo in return for Future Considerations, on the ground that LA needs to dump Quick's cap hit in the last year of his contract.

This is the same guy who once said "Not trading Dermott to Boston without Carlo coming back."

That's an...interesting take. Mind you, a lot of people say crazy things here. I've been guilty of it myself. And no I'm not going to admit what one of my bad takes was haha.

As much as I want NJ to keep Wood I’d take that in a heartbeat.

Great to see someone else making fun of muzzin trade before I got here. Also as a fan of a team who has to play the ducks all the time, John Gibson is worth so much more than that.

Tonight I'm hoping that the Kings win 1-0 with John Gibson making 39 saves.

I'm sick and tired of people saying "Gibson hasn't been good for 3 years."
