De Haan leads the league in blocked shots, we need that.
Luke Schenn has a lot of hits, we need that.
Soucy has a good plus minus on a bad team.
The trade with the Devils is risky. I will always love Binnington but he's too shaky. Bastian and McCloud have a lot of hits. Saad is fine but thinking about the year after, we need the cap room.
I've done a three of these now and those of you who think Perron isn't get paid are naive. Maybe he hands over millions of dollars to the owner but if we give him what he's worth next year, we could sign him for far less the next off season.
All in all we get a team that is better defensively and one that hits more. A team that hits more should give even more offensive opportunity plus less pressure on the goalie.
