Why so hot on trading Scheif? All the Jet fans here talk about how great he is and how team friendly his contract is, but you all seem dying to trade him. WHY????

The current core hasn't had real success in and a lot of fans want a shakeup to their leadership core and coaching, Scheifele has been most sense to move lately.

Would be quite hard to say no to that. Idk though, as good as Scheifele is, I can’t see us actively trying to acquire him. Thomas is our future 1C for many years to come, and ROR just feels like a better fit for us until we decide whether to let him walk or not. If you’re shopping Scheifele, it’s probably to a team that actually needs him.

Why not Scheifele for Fiala?

If the right package for ROR came along sure
But rn he’s our captain and will not be moved at all
I can’t see DA moving him to western team let alone a division rival either
So tldr no blues wouldn’t consider it I feel

O’Reilly is still a much better player. Playing a much different role this year
