Description

Det stays put and drafts at #8; who knows how it will pan out but one of Jiricek, Nemec, or Savoie could fall. After them, maybe Marco Kasper or Brad Lambert.

Not sure if NSH is a fit for Dad but I don’t think Tennessee has an Income tax so that’s why I put them there. Honestly, any team he’d waive for would be fine, and I think 50% retained for a 3rd is a steal

Savoie can skate fast and score lots. He's 5'9 but with today's rules I don't think it affects him. I'd definitely take him at #7 or #8.

Yeah Vegas needs to trim cap, no they just aren't going to hand out picks like this. Sure they might have to sell Martinez at a discount but they won't have to pay to move him.

LOL no.

You don't get a first round pick and Martinez (and then an extra 3rd in the subsequent trade) for holding 2.5 million for a year. Carolina got a first for taking on like 6 million with Marleau's buyout.

Vegas isn't giving up a 1st and 2nd round pick to move Dadonov and Martinez get real. Martinez still has value. And why would Dadonov waive for Detroit only to be dealt to Nashville? He could just waive to go to Nashville without the middle man Detroit. And very doubtful Savoie falls to 7th or 8th overall. But if he did that would be sweet for us.

No. VGK likely won’t get favorable deals this off-season, but this is just too much.
