I don't see AZ doing that. I never understood why TOR backloads any contract at all. They should be front loading all their contracts just so that it's easier to potentially move those guys to budget conscious teams. Mrazek's salary next year is more than you're willing to pay Campbell.

You have a lot of players taking discounts to help out TOR. I'm not so sure guys like Mikheyev and Campbell are going to willing to do that. They haven't made any serious money yet. They might want to ensure their future life security before taking discounts. Maybe Gio will because he wasn't won anything yet in his career and he's made his money and he's from Toronto.

Gee, you want cap space, then you sign Giroux to a 6m X 3.. Arizona and any team for Muzzin passes. Clifford is not a cap dump at 760,000....he's a Marlie

Vancouver doesn't do that. They are not trading picks (1sts/2nds or 3rds at any rate) and they are also not trading Schenn before the TDL unless it's in a package for a young high end RD.

Dermott was traded for a third and it was reported that other teams valued Holl more than Dermott.

      Giroux won't sign in Toronto.

Not sure why Kase is getting a 100% raise. He signed with us at 1.25M because he had limited suitors due to his issue with injuries. And once again, he's had issues with injuries. He likely won't get much more at all than the 1.25M he is making now.
