    Stars decline.

Would much rather sign Manson ourselves than pay that much for Petry.

Petry had better come with a $2,000,000 to $3,000,000 x 3 retention for that cost. There's no freaking way Hughes gets that haul for a full value Jeff Petry.

You think the Canucks trade a first for Josh Anderson?

Anderson is 27, in his prime. I don't think the Canucks are the team to be making this trade but a contending team would for sure.

Mmm no, no one is paying a 1st for a guy scoring under half a point per game for the last three seasons, who is also signed for 5 more years at $5.5 mil a year in cap, and owed $30.5 mil in real money (avg $6.1 mil a year) in that time.

Anderson is an anchor with that deal, not an asset. And definitely not a worth a 1st.

Really? Just like Chiarot sucks and wouldn't get a 2nd let alone a 1st+ right or how about like Lehkonen is not offensive enough to get a 1st+. GM's pay more then fans are willing to because they know that stats lines don't show the entire worth of a player.
