Solid but I think kubalik will go for more and if he doesn’t the hawks will wait it out until the value rises

Plot twist: Shane Wright isn’t gonna be nearly as good as once thought. It’s time to fall hard for bedard.

Henrik Borgstrom is a left-handed center prospect well behind Quinton Byfield, Rasmus Kupari and Blake Lizotte, and would probably have to compete with Carl Grundstrom and Alex Turcotte for playing time at LW. He's a depth prospect who would be worth a third-round draft pick to us. Jonathan Quick is our starting goaltender with a year's term left on his contract, so his return would be at least what you got for Marc-Andre Fleury.

He's looked pretty good in the OHL playoff so far 1 goal, 5 assists in 4 games and +2...

LA isn't dealing Quick, Hawks pass and the odds of the 6th oa landing to 1st oa is pretty slim. Sure never benefited Detroit.

If Shane Wright signs right away, it will be for $925k x 3 years, with any team. Young players like him get the maximum with maximum bonuses. Also, CHI definitely is the one adding on the LA trade. Quick is actually playing pretty darn well. I wouldn't say Borgy has negative value because of his cap hit, but he doesn't have any positive value. He is more of a neutral "change of scenery" candidate.

He won't be mathews or mcdavid.. or Bedard for that matter, but next year is no guarantee either.

Fluery was coming off a vezina winning season, so NO. Kings aren't ready for a legit run so un my opinion you need an upgrade. Pushing young guys like turcotte with more mature prospects who still have high potential is a winning formula.

That's what you pick to criticize? My lord.. add some incentives. Either way entry level salaries are cost controlled on purpose.

Fluery was coming off a vezina winning season, so NO.

Utter nonsense. Fleury was coming off a 45-game stint in which he had a 2.95 GAA and a 0.908 save percentage when he was traded (not at the beginning of the season, so he wasn't "coming off a Vezina-winning season"), and was being traded at a point where he got in only 11 games for Minnesota. Quick has a 2.59 GAA and 0.910 save percentage in 46 games this season and he would be playing in 4 times as many games next year as Fleury will get in for Minnesota this season. So the returns would be similar.
