Shun the non believer.

Hey now I'm in it until the bitter end.

However:
a) Campbell has been better than Vasy
b) We're still plagued by stupid penalties
c) Now Kuch isn't present for PP work that we need improved

Is he hurt?

Also, just gonna say, he may not be scoring at a massive rate but Hagel at 1.4 for 3 years is a bargain.

I hate to be that guy, but it's 1.5

Yes I know it's a big difference

Realized that I didn't post it in this thread, so, as a public service announcement-I've decided to cut down on my time spent on CF. It's awesome, but I just wind up using it for too long. As such, I'll only be on here 3 or 4 days a week, and will stop using the site completely at the conclusion of the playoffs (when the Lightning hopefully three-peat). (Mainly stating this publicly to be held accountable.)

OK, onto the actual Lightning: they've got a bunch of problems right now. First off, their offense hasn't been bad, but Jack Campbell has been nothing short of BRILLIANT. That being said, Vasi hasn't been bad either, but the Lightning are giving up odd-man rushes and breakaways by the truckload, and Vasi can only do so much on those (also worth noting that the Lightning have barely gotten ANY odd-man rushes in this series, and if memory serves correct only one breakaway in Perry's goal).

Second-the D has been barely above abysmal. The aforementioned odd-man rushes, not getting the puck out of the zone, leaving Leafs wide open in front of the net-they need to tighten up and then some. No doubt Rutta was awful in Game 1, but I don't like Bogosian AND Foote being on the right hand side of the ice for more than half the game (though Foote has been good). I'd give Rutta another crack at it in Game 4.

Third-JUST. SHOOT. THE. PUCK. They had this mentality in Game 3, and it came THIS CLOSE to getting them back from a 3-0 deficit. Get the puck to the net, good things will happen. But test Campbell early and often.

Here's to a come-from-behind series win and a third straight Cup.

Everyone grab one 🧾

But for real, I completely understand this. I tried to stay away as much as I could last offseason and I think I completely zoned out of all non-Olympic hockey for the entirety of February. Sometimes you just gotta step away.

Once again wasn't able to watch the game closely tonight, but did anyone notice if Cirelli was bad? His xGF% and CF% were horrible.

I don't think he was noticeably bad eye test wise. He left the game for a bit tho.

Colton Paul Hagel were marvellous together. Their first shift set the tone for the whole game. Point has his legs going now too, arguably the most dangerous Lightning forward tonight

Nice to see we traded one player who couldn't finish breakaways for another...
