What’s Strome asking for?
I’d prefer someone like Toews, as he’d likely cost less to get and keep, and due to his age he’d fit our need as we only need a short term stop gap until Perfetti is ready to step in.
Strome makes me think he’d be another Copp… wanting more money than we can or should pay

If Scheifele ends up going I wouldn't mind that Strome deal at all. Hell, I'd take it even if Scheifele stays. He could split time between 3C or ideally we move Scheiefele to wing to cover for his defensive problems and Strome could play 2C. Jets should accept that deal if it came their way at all, depending on if Strome takes >5mil. Vesa and Reichel aren't worth much at all, and that 2nd might be recouped in a Dillon trade if we go that route.
