Description
Take anything for Del Zotto, anything at all.

NDJ needs a goalie, maybe they'll be Ottawa levels of desperate and take a stab at Murray. It's a pipe dream, but again, take anything, anything at all.

Keller is the prize. Load the offer up with picks, add the salaries of White + Zaitsev to make it work, include Brannstrom, Daoust, but I'd imagine Jarventie/Greig/Sokolov would need to be part of it too. That said Keller hasn't exactly been an elite scorer as of yet, so buying high on one season might not be the smartest. But on a team like Ottawa, those 60 pts could turn into an easy 70+ with Stu as his centre.

I understand the thinking with using Devils to take Murray of your hands.
But I'd be very disappointed if assets weren't going to the Devils along with Murray's contract, wouldn't want them to help the Sens out with that cap that cheaply.
Nevertheless, I think it's a decent fit but needs to be a lot more value going to the Devils here.

Probably right, probably wouldn't want to send more than a ~5th but could be a nice way out for Ottawa and a decent redemptive opportunity for Murray

Agreed. Murray's buyout isn't actually bad. If the Sens were to buy him out, it'd be $7.5 mil in total (over 4 years), though if they retained a bit, they could at least shorten that commitment.

Couldn't the Devils could in many other directions for a lot cheaper of a goalie that has similar stats? Adin Hill or someone like that?

All that deal does is give OTT cap room. Devils get minimal improvement.
