Dubois will get 8yr x 8m AAV, regardless what posters here think

That Scheifele trade sucks for WPG
No way LAK do that Schmidt trade
No one is paying anything close to that for Wheeler… retained or not

The Jets don't do any of the deals other than the islander one.

Boston and SJ don't even consider those trades.

Not a chance boston gives up their top prospect, a first, and their top line RW for Scheifele.

Although this trade will never happen, I do see a world where a team in need of a point per game centre like Scheifele overpays massively. If Chevy does his job patiently and effectively, he could get a jack eichel level return. Boston could potentially be a good fit bit that trade isn’t great for them

It would be pure futures or it wouldn’t happen. Well, pure futures and maybe a cap dump. Lysell is on the table, sure. A 1st is on the table of course. I’m not sure they go together, and they definitely don’t go with a top line player as well.

If Nate Schmidt was traded for a third-round pick at the beginning of the 2020-2021 season (79th overall), and then got traded for essentially the same pick in the 2021 off-season (78th overall), what makes you think he's worth even a second now that he has another season's worth of mileage on him?
