$6M for a 4th liner. I don't see how you can negotiate that. Most teams would want a 1st but he's useful so it would be a 2nd.

yes he will, he's no where near where he used to be, he's still a good player defensively, however the offense and speed isn't there anymore. He's basically a 4th liner and a penalty killer, and he's getting paid 6.3 mil. The Flames are also in an impossible position where they need to move him and clear cap space to sign Johnny and Tkachuk.

He played with 1 leg LMAO? It's already been reported there is a lot of interest in him, any team interested very likely sees him as someone who can potentially bounce back and return a lot if traded at the next deadline.

How can you say he's no where near where he used to be when he hasn't played healthy for 2 seasons now? He got hip surgery after getting injured in game 5 last year. He then needed to get surgery for the other hip since it deteriorated much faster due to the first one. Needing a 2nd hip surgery is quite common due to of overcompensation from the first one.

It's already been reported there is a lot of interest in him so obviously GM's look at him as someone who has a legitimate excuse for the struggles. He will go to the highest bidder, it won't be a great return but it won't be Calgary paying premium to move him.

Well he would need to prove he is healthy and up to snuff.

If he's not healthy he's staying on LTIR and Calgary doesn't need to move him

That's cool, just saying you aren't gonna get what you expect unless he proves he can still play.

Well yes, if the surgery goes bad and his careers done then he's not going to return anything. Any trade involving Monahan assumes he is able to play again

Vegas set the market for dumping good players fpr cap space. GM wanted Kadri over him.
