whats the point of giving so much for a goalie, one who didnt have a great year, especially when you want to continue to lose till your up and coming goalie is ready to play

I didn't think it was that much all of them are ok at best. Also Gibson can mentor levi or opl

Gibson isnt a 20-30 goal winger + 2nd pair dman + a 1st ++ good, Girgensons isnt going anywhere, Ruotsalainen has 1 foot back in europe already, the Sabres already had Rodrigues they already know hes not a top 6 forward,

From what is rumouring around Sabres, Mittlestadt isn't going anywhere, he is one of better looking player at training. They will give him a chance next year, when he is fully health.

I'd just keep Mittlestadt and Grigs. Both players coming back are a step down from what Buffalo gives up.

Stars fan, yeah this doesn’t look like a need filled for either team. Stars lack quality RHD (who isn’t besides LA) after Klingberg leaves this offseason that makes a third pair guy like Hajanpaa the top of the depth chart....and we don’t need another depth forward which at this point in his career I think we can assume Girgensons is what he is.

No reason for Gibson to waive for Buffalo, Team looks very rough and you're roughly $5,000,000 under the cap floor.

If you take KA and Granato at their word then nobody should expect any offseason moves except a FA goalie - everything else will just be a few players going from AHL to the Sabres - the problem is the Sabres could be 10-12 pts better and still miss the playoffs by a comfortable margin.
