i hope kopitar does not get to be selke nominee. he hasnt deserved it this year and missed a bimch of games too. ( but the selke award is awarded kostly on reputation anyways so who knows).

yup. I could've thrown Matthews into the nominees instead of Kopitar, but you got to stick with the OGs.

Toronto media will definitely get Bunting in as a calder nominee, but I agree that Seider should and will win.

Picking the Calder trophy nominees were really tough. I knew seider was going to win. And I had to put swaymen in there. It was either zegres, Raymond, or bunting for the last nominee spot. Raymond help Larkin, but I think Larkin helped himself more than Raymond helped him. Zegres was a game changer when he was on the ice. Always trying new things. He tied svechnikov for most Michigan goals with two. Bunting was great. But he was 26. I don't think they would put him as a nominee if two other players had just as good seasons as 19 and 20 year old's. And bunting played with Matthews and Marner.

I can’t say Sorokin is a Vezina candidate he put up his stats on a mediocre islanders team (not that it was his fault) I’d say Saros and Kuemper are better candidates but Shesterkin will win it

I think instead of Sorokin I would put in Markstrom. He led the NHL in shutouts this season with nine. But still Shesterkin should win it.

The vezina candidates could go either way but yes, shesterkin will win.
