Walker, Grans, Spence, Durzi

That's the order in which LA would be looking to move RHD. They're not going to want to trade for draft picks or prospect downgrades. They're going to want immediate NHL-ready help.

I could see them packaging up one of those guys with a 1st and another piece for Sergachev.

Just no. Sergachev has a ton of value and wont be moved for a small bottom pairing dman who has 1 decent year, and another small dman prospect. Fortier will be fighting for a roster spot next year and we need to start saving draft picks. Carcone makes 0 sense for us. Foote isnt being moved at all, let alone for a forward. Foote is one of the only RHD we have signed next year and we lack NHL RHD depth severely

Why in the world would we have any interest whatsoever in Gabriel Fortier, when we have an overabundance of NHL-experienced young LWs as it is? Aside from top-6 forwards Kempe, Moore and Iafallo, we have Grundstrom, Kaliyev, Andersson and Anderson-Dolan already on the roster and we need to find playing time for Alex Turcotte next season, too.

I really like this idea for LAK and TBL so I changed things up bc of this.

Carcone is just a cheap one year chance Tampa takes bc he finished well in his brief time in the NHL while having average offensive and defensive WAR on a team that had a lot of bad players. I changed up the Mikhail trade. Carrier had crazy good defensive impacts this season and is fine offensively. Foote has not been nearly as good as most portray him to be so its better they move on and find a replacement for Palat in Kubalik. The addition of two young RD in Carrier and spence on cheap contracts who are both played better than Foote this season.

You're a 4th round pick or an Aatu Jamsen too heavy on the return. Pick one.

Foote has been outstanding in the playoffs and has been their best defensemen on the ice most game this playoffs, if he can carry this play to next season hes gonna be in the top 4 easily. Sergy is the only dman that they will even think about moving but its gonna be for quality not quantity. Asset management is gonna be a big think this year. could even see Palat stay and we trade Killorn so we at least get some assets back instead of letting Palat walk for nothing. If he does walk, there is plenty of guys that can take his place. Hagel can finally get top 6 time like he should be getting, Nick Paul (if he re-signs) can fit in a top 6 role for us and move up and down the lineup, Killorn can move to the top line, Colton can move up the lineup, Koepke can be a call up that makes an impact, Barre-Boulet can get a shot up there where he looked decent with Stamkos, Sammy Walker if he signs could steal a roster spot, same with Cole Guttman. so many better options than moving one of our only RHD for a forward, trading Sergy is the only logical choice but again, quality over quantity. just like how we traded Drouin for Sergy. it would be one of those trades. Carcone doesnt make sense just for the fact we have so many young guys that can come up and take spots. no reason to pay for a guy to be a healthy scratch 50% of the season when we can save picks and use our depth

Changed it up so LAK can focus on something more aligned with their roster needs.

I would accept the new proposed deal for Sergachev. I'd even substitute Jaret Anderson-Dolan for Jamsen (or even add him).

From Tampa's perspective Id rather take a chance of JAD than Jamsen. JAD showed some offensive upside in the AHL this season even though he's not that polished defensively.
