I'll give you props on one thing, this got me thinking....what is the most salary ever traded in one NHL trade by both teams combined? Because I would think this would have to be tops?

I don't know if it's the highest, but the Ekman-Larsson deal last summer was a lot of money too.

Canucks are better off with a #1 forward, #1 defenceman, and #1 goalie, rather than McDavid. Plus no way in hell Keith is coming to Vancouver

laugh On what planet is Vancouver any better then Edmonton? McDavid could go to a far better team than Vancouver.

Okay… it’s a trade. Not a FA signing. Doesn’t matter if he could go to a better team

Pretty sure that still wouldn't get Connor McDavid. Holland is a hard bargainer.

Yeah he really held out on giving up Jones and a 3rd for Keith, or two 2nds for anthanesiu, or giving nurse 8x9.25, or signing 40 yr old Mike smith to a 2 year extension, or handing out long term deals to neilson, dekeyser, abdelkader, Ericsson, franzen etc.

Doesn't matter, McDavid isn't leaving at least a playoff team. For a team that can't even make the playoffs. If McDavid isn't happy in Edmonton he sure as hell wont be happy in Vancouver.

Good call. That was higher than Weber-Subban. The Phaneuf to Ottawa trade was a little less than Weber-Subban. I think those are the highest ones I'm seeing unless I'm missing one out there.
