If your defence steps up, Binnington continues playing well, and O'Reilly shuts down anybody hes matched with. We have a great chance

ROR is gonna have his hands full. Kinda like Kopitar and Daulat in round 1

Interesting I thought I saw that there is gonna be a good chance of returning. I thought both Scandella and Krug were at practice on Saturday.

EDIT: It seems they did NOT practice. Interested to see if they practice on Monday in Denver

I think the Blues have a good chance against the Avs. The 3rd line is a mismatch in the Blues favor and COL's d-corps isn't anything special outside of it's top pair.

They have a chance as long as ROR doesn't make any stupid comments like he did last year and gives the Avs fuel.

I read it was a grade 2 MCL tear. Recovery time is anywhere from 2-4 weeks. I have not seen any reports of needing surgery but he also hasn't skated at all, so who knows. He is traveling with team for "rehab purposes" whatever that means. Have to think the past 4 days off really helped Leddy/Bortuzzo/Schenn recover from some lingering injuries. I don't know how physical this series is going to be, i feel like both teams will use speed to generate offense rather than physicality, something we saw with the Wild (at least with the GREEF line). I'm sure there will be some solid hits throughout the series but as we saw with Nashville, you can't look for hitting first against colorado, cause as soon as you are out of position they will most likely score. Bottom line is we will need everyone throughout the series..

Couldn’t agree more here. Thanks for the update on Krug, I didn’t know what the injury was exactly. It seems Scandella should be in the lineup then soon too. But the 7D with the current situation is working so keep it rolling honestly. I think you’re right about the speed game that will be going on between St. Louis and Colorado. Playing smart will be the recipe here, no dumb penalties or giving odd-man opportunities the other way. Edmonton and Calgary will be a blood bath, so if St. Louis can escape Colorado we can hope to just outlast the winner from that series. Gotta be 1-1 heading home like we did against Minnesota.
