That's making Philly really old really fast....3 30 year olds (by the time next season begins) and pick #15 for 2 25 year olds, a first, and a guy on the last year of his contract that we have to pay half for on top of giving up the #6 pick? No thanks

They add a 99 point player and a good 2nd line winger. They clear 4 mil in cap and only drop back 11 picks. OEL had a better yr than Provorov last season. But the big thing is they get the top 10 scorer which they are desperate for.

I see the idea here, but getting older and dropping back in the draft is kinda a big L

Philly is in an odd position, looking at the players statically is tough because the year and a half they were under AV, everyone did worse.. TK was like .300 ppg the year before and half a year after the guy was doing over .800PPG… Hayes looked like that contract would be a disaster but actually put up solid stats w/o AV.

Provorov had that issue as well. So did JVR even. Guy put up 25 goals and almost all of them came after AV was fired…

Honestly, Philly probably shouldn’t make major changes right now but we all know they will

I'd agree with your sentiment here. What would you offer for just MIller? Assuming you knew management was going after him? And he does seem like a good fit kinda.

Miller being a UFA after next season makes this deal even dumber for the Flyers than it already is.

Let's say it's contingent on him signing 6 x 8.5

Could be contingent on Miller resigning and maybe make is a 2023 first and scrap the two 1st involved in the above proposal.

This trade is so awful it’s not even funny. OEL’s contract sucks, nobody is touching that and why would an awful team trade young assets for older veterans and drop back in the draft. One year of Miller is not worth anywhere near this
