Description
I’m not a Ducks fans so please feel free to critique my GM skills. I think taking on Cap dumps and building the already very good prospect pool seems like the best option.

I’m a Leafs fan. No one is going to bail us out and take Kerfoot. He’s a pretty useless player in today’s NHL where players like him are so common

He absolutely is going to be moved for minimal return. No one is going to pay for him because our cap situation gives us no leverage and players like Kerfoot are a dime a dozen in today’s NHL

We need to move his salary. It’s really not in our court to dictate any terms

lol, if kerfoot played for tampa people here would be saying he's worth a 1st and a prospect.

We really don't though....if you would get it our of your head Kerfoot is a problem and spend more than 5 minutes putting together a roster, you can put together a pretty good Leafs team even if you decide to "run it back" in the core 4. He is extremely useful in the middle 6.

We can’t afford 3.5 million for him. No one else in the bottom six can make that much money. This is what happens when you give three players 11 million or more a year

That’s a bad deal for the Rangers. Better to buy him out then give away Lundkvist to move out Nemeth.

Like the leafs you’re in a bad spot to dictate terms. Also why not trade Lundkvist? You have two RHD on big contracts and one who is still on a rookie deal and already playing full time.

Yes, we can. Again, spend more than 5 minutes looking at their roster and pieces around the league. You absolutely can, I promise. I know 90% of your time watching the NHL is watching Jackie Redmond instead, but at least try.

Cause you don’t trade cost controlled players for the hell of it. And the buyout is only a million. The deal above is just awful.
