Projected Cap hits

Created by: LEAFS3422

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Dobber Hockey has the top 150 projected cap hits. I completed the leaf's roster based on there numbers.

Based on projected cap hits the following will most likely happen.

Mikeyev walks in free agency

Campbell walks in free agency, but who is out there that can replace?

Kase is traded for literally nothing or goes unsigned and becomes UFA.

Not sure if Engvall would be worth what he is projected to make?

I think Lyubushkin, Sandin, Blackwell and Lljegren are of good value for what they bring to the table.

Even with Trading Kerfoot and Holl and buying out Mrazek the leafs are still $4,164,949 over the cap.

Lots of decisions ahead for the leaf's, I would not want to be Dubas.

Also I know more term would be placed on plyers just put 1 years to see where the projected cap would be at.

Below is the dobber link I based the numbers on (Not my projected amounts)

Detroit does not now, nor ever, want:
Kerfoot, Holl or Muzzin, regardless of cost.

Clearly those were just randomly chosen teams

Campbell wont get 6mill unless a team is desperate

Sandin is overpaid by $1 million if he signs a one year deal. Which Dubas and Sandin should want to do.

Sandin = Dermott.... not sold on him being anything but a 5-7 Dman.

It's sad to be honest. Really felt like last year was THE year. Not sure how this team improves or, possibly, prevents itself from getting worse. Although, I was saying the same thing last offseason so idk lol.

That's a very bad evaluation of him as a player. Obviously it's okay to have some skepticism since he hasn't been given that bigger role, but anyone that has seen Sandin play knows that he is and will be much better than Dermott.

If it's not noted, then don't get salty about people critiquing it. There have been FAR too many ACGMs on here legitimately trying to move pieces to Detroit that have ZERO fit, so naturally, it's going to call for ridicule.

Apparently this offseason is gonna see some intriguing names potentially get bought out and or not qualified

Keep an eye on Monahan, Colin White, Matt Murray, Miles Wood, among others

Or in other words its gonna be more intriguing than it was last year

So we could see another Bunting come out of this

Seattle might be a good team for Holl. Hakstol coached him when he was an assistant coach in Toronto.

Yep, I wish the leaf's never protected him and Settle took him in the expansion instead of leaf's legend Jared McCann lol

If Dubas plan for the Seattle draft was to protect 7 fwd and 3 dman, he probably wouldn't have thought of trading for MCcann. He only traded for him as a backup plan for losing Kerfoot by going the 4 fwd and 4 dman route.

It's all about looking at numbers on paper rather than watching the players on the ice for Dubas.

Holl's protected sheltered ice time made him look like a Top 4 Dman until Muzzin wasn't his partner to cover up his mistakes.

Toronto can get more than a 7th for trading Kerfoot.
He's not a cap dump like that.
St.Louis doesn't need him.
