I’d bet there’s better deals out there, possibly even a 22 lottery team, which would be better than anything offered here.

If Toronto want someone who can compete against Vasilevski, he's your best shot.

They don't really want Robertson on their top 6 anyway, and Sandin might take another two years before he's top 4.

Also, Gibson at 6.4M is a deal. Giving Campbell 5M would be a mistake.

Just call him Mr. October. Not the kind of goalie any team with playoff aspirations should look twice at. And he gets $6.4M too - that's a significant chunk of cap to risk on a goalie with a very poor track record.
