Underpay from Vancouver.

Forsberg will get 9M, trochek is very likely staying in Carolina

pittsburgh is almosst as good as carolina and is likely better with trocheck.

most signings are probably a little low because im banking on "discounts to win"

While value wise it’s a good trade for the Canucks, I don’t see them trading their 1st round pick

Canucks are actively shopping their first...
This is a massive steal for Vancouver

Trocheck will likely stay in Carolina.. but Give Malkin $4M to end his career in Pittsburgh. Id think Letang would hopefully do the same with a lower contract and let Pittsburgh go grab another guy or two... With all they money they made over their careers and likely the jobs they will get with Pittsburgh after, they will be fine giving up a couple million each to allow for Pittsburgh to bring in even more talent. I think your light on Forsbergs number based on his production over the last two years. Hes going to get paid well.

I have not seen anything saying they are actively shopping it, I’ve seen some rumours that they might trade down to add more picks, but not trade it outright for a player

I agree value wise it’s great for Vancouver, but with or terrible prospect pool we do need high picks. Although assuming we get a 1st this year in a Miller trade then I could see this happening
