Rather not, with how it is Lundkvist has no spot on NYR. He’s blocked til he’s 26 and then 3rd pair till whenever Fox or Schneider leaves. Can’t believe a team is overflowing with RHD’s.

Plus as it is Bourque will most likely finishes out better than him. I’d be willing to somewhat add to Dellandrea, but Bourque is a no for that caliber of RHD.

Feel like Dallas should be the last team going after Liljegren, I could see them just turn around and offer sheet Oettinger to 6mil 🤷‍♂️

Easy match tho. Leafs won’t be able to match, yet Stars will easily be able to.

There’s still 2 million in cap room with Miller signed.

Is it tho, that’s assuming they Jason doesn’t sign a higher cap hit, which IMO he signs for over 7

Again, that’s with Miller signed to a contract worth 9 million dollars. Downgrade him to a Burakovsky or even a Palat and you save another additional 4-4.5 million dollars. Which Robo at most signs for 9 million (signed him to the Tkachuk contract) and Otter at another 2 million is 4 million in total (right in the wheel house).

Plus how are the Leafs going to OS Otter? With what cap space?

With Holl, Kerfoot, and Mrázek all likely gone, there is absolutely space to try.

Not saying Liljegren is not primed for an offer sheet, just feel like Dallas has their own cap concerns without going after Liljegren.

Time will tell

I would think Dallas learned their lesson and won’t be giving 9+ mill to forwards over 30 lol. Dallas doesn’t need J.T Miller anyways

Yeah it's no deal then. And the caliber is the same tier as Bourque. I'd put Lundkvist as better than Schneider tbh.
