You've put the Sens. in an awful cap situation ext yer when Stutzle, Pinto and Zub might want to be resigned to big contracts.
IMO Giroux is completed unnecessary and no other team is. going to pay near 9m, why should the Sens?

No thanks. We can’t accept that even if we wanted to, unless we don’t want to make the playoffs. Skinner is not waiver exempt, so we have to play him in the NHL, and Gustavsson is not waiver exempt too. I don’t trust a tandem of Skinner, Gustavsson at all even if Smith becomes the goalie coach. That’s just too much rushing in my opinion.

Say we land Chychrun or someone of that liking and Edler doesn't comeback, I'd probably accept this as LA.

Really don’t see the canes making that deal. Doesn’t make a ton of sense to pick up another D prospect, bottom 6 F, move up a round for a guy of necas’ caliber, even if he doesn’t really fit in Carolina moving forward

Holden has 1 year left, he is a great cheap stop gap vet very well liked in the room. Sens won't trade him.
