I think you are right that Hawks would want young prospects and draft picks for taking on Cap of Marazek.


Someone leaked it, but Davidson and Dubbas addressed it in private...nobody owes anyone anything though...savvy businessmen don't work that way

34 year old Marchand off a double hip surgery is a foolish gamble if you’re giving up a player like Nylander.

Need to add a sweetener to the Chicago deal for them to take Mrazek.

Buffalo accepts pretty easily. Not sure why the Leafs fans hate Kerfoot so much

Kerfoot needs to be moved out to free up some CapSpace........He is a good hockey player but not really a difference maker when the going gets tough.

I wonder what the ages were of Iginla and Nieuwendyk when they were traded in order to win a cup. Or the time NYR traded Weight and Amonte to win a cup, not to mention their leading goal scorer at the time to take on age and experience…. Nylander is younger but Marchand has experience, more drive, more term, more value. I actually don’t think Bs even do this deal, but the fact that you don’t think Leafs should is scary.
