what didn't you like about it ? all of the players included have been mentioned as possibly moving this offseason. so why not a combination like this ? i just picked the Devils at random and tried to reshape them. give it a try and see what team you come up with

You must have the picks mixed up in the Zona trade. Drop the 3 throw ins and swap it to 2OA to Zona and 3rd rounder to NJ. Goalie swap is a wash. So 2OA+Holtz+Bahl for Chychrun+3rd rounder. Much more realistic.

It makes absolutely no sense for Arizona. They give up the best player AND the highest pick. Zacha and Wood do nothing for them and Smith is a reclamation project at this point. Way too much stuff but not nearly enough value. Remember you have to think about what The other team needs too.

And btw Campbell won't be that cheap.

Campbell signing at 2.75m per, try twice that number

Evander Kane will cost at least twice as much as well, maybe 3xs as much

and Kane may be had a good price because of the settlements he is involved in. it hurts him financially to make over certain amounts of money.

and with Wood i didn't know you are able to just trade away a player's rights, i thought on this Armchair GM you had to qualify them first. and i just gave a fair contract and tried to help AZ get to the floor.
